• Job Title : Maintenance Technician / Direct HireLocation : Springfield, MO 65803Pay Rate : $20 / hr Work Schedule : Monday 7am-3 : 30pmGeneral Summary : Maintains and repairs machinery and equipment by performing the following duties*Essential Job Functions : Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Assists with keeping machinery and equipment in good operating condition by cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Maintains and repairs buildings’ electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts, such as switches and fuses, repair and install VFD drives, and pneumatic experience.
• Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. Reads manuals and diagrams to fix equipment.

Repairs and maintains physical structure of machinery, equipment, and establishment.* Builds jigs and fixtures.* Listens to and visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment to detect malfunction.

• Sets up and operates machine tools such as grinder or drill to repair or fabricate parts, fixtures, or tools.* Completes manufacturing documentation in a timely manner.
• Follows all safety guidelines as noted in Safety Manual.*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of OSHA restrictions and regulations.* Knowledge of the capacities of machinery and equipment.* Skill of installing equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications.
• Ability to tell when something is wrong, or is likely to go wrong.*Education and Experience : *High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
